- What if I cannot connect to the server?
- Please make sure that you have enabled either Wi-Fi or cellular data. If you only have cellular data enabled, please check that you still have remaining data. [iOS 10 or above CN devices only] If you did not allow UU to access your Wi-Fi or cellular data when you first entered UU, you can move to System Settings-Cellular Data-Apps Using WLAN and Cellular to enable UU to use WLAN and Celluar Data.
- I have connected to Wi-Fi, but I still cannot connect to the server
- Some public Wi-Fi, like those in restaurants, subways, or stations, may require a second verification (prompted when you connect to the Wi-Fi or visit webpage for the first time). We recommend that you contact the Wi-Fi provider for internet access.
- I can open other webpage/applications, but not the UU server.
- If you have enabled other VPNs after starting UU, please turn off the VPN and try again. If you are using a campus network, you need to ask the network administrator whether he/she has set firewall rules for the superior router.
- Why does my internet connection constantly fail?
- If you are using cellular data, it is probably because the 4G network coverage at your location is poor, and the network may keep switching among 4G/3G/2G and cause the disconnection. We recommend that you use UU under stable 4G network. If your Wi-Fi signal is not strong enough, we recommend that you adjust the location of the router. Object blocking and distance may affect the Wi-Fi signal strength.
- What if I disconnect?
- UU adopts the smart reconnection technology and will help you reconnect automatically when your network recovers. If you have not authorized the access to cellular data, please confirm the authorization for the first use. The network may be unstable when you are in a vehicle or keep moving, which is normal. For your safety and health, we recommend that you use the acceleration function in a relatively fixed environment.
